The patriarch of the Silber Family, Karl Silber was born to Nazi-sympathizing parents and grew up to hate them for it, as they carried the same hatred for those they persecuted for those Karl considered afflicted by the supernatural. Despite having "lost" one of his own sons to lycanthropy, Karl has consistently remained the most level headed of the patriarchs and only joins in the war against the supernatural under orders of his wife and matriarch.
